Pet care experience
I live a work-from-home, dog-centered lifestyle. Exercise is prioritized. Dogs are allowed on furniture. There are hiking trails on property for the dogs. We also own a river house down the road for daily swims during warmer weather. The dogs run the show around here! The wellbeing of our dogs is our top priority. They go on 1 hour-long "pack-style" walk per day in the forest by our home. Your dog will never feel ignored or bored around here! In the rare event they are left alone, it will only be for a brief period, such as a quick trip to the grocery store or running minor errands. We prefer to host larger dogs (50+ lb) because of how well they interact and play with our own dogs. Visiting dogs must be house-trained and get along well with others.

Amelia was awesome at taking care of my 11mo lab/pit puppy. She stayed with her for a week and I loved seeing the pics she sent me during my trip. I recommend her!
This was the first time I have used a dog sitter, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care Amelia gave Buster. Amelia always answered my messages quickly, and sent me updates and pictures of Buster during his stay. I highly recommend Amelia, and will definitely use her if I ever need a sitter again.

This is a country setting on 13 acres. We are set back far from the road with a long driveway. Our dogs free roam and do not leave the yard so there is no fence. If your dog may be at risk of running off, we could keep them on a leash when outside. Dogs are watched at all times.

Availability
I work from home full-time. My dogs go on 2 walks per day-once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. In the summertime we often combine this into one 1-hour long swim in the afternoon.
