Pet care experience
I've grown up with animals of all kinds in my home, from cats, dogs, rodents, lizards, fish, birds, and chickens, so I'm well prepared to take care of a multitude of animals! They have always been an essential part of my life, and since I always had pets growing up, I leanred from an early age how to give them the proper care they need. I know how to adjust my body language, tone of voice, and to let the animal come to me. I can also pick out signs that they are not feeling well, which can be a tricky things to do. I currently have a senior cat with special heath needs and therefore am also very experienced with providing medicine. I give all animals the highest quality of care I can because all animals deserve the absolute best they can get!

I am happy to travel to the client's home to care for their pet! As my cat likes to fly solo, I wouldn't be able to bring other pets into our home. I have several years of experience sitting for pets in other people's homes and am very respectful of other people's personal space and belongings and therefore keep only to myself and the care of the pet.
Information Amber W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they have a history of biting, being nervous around new people, any medical issues they might have, if they jump, bark a lot, etc. Are there any behaviors or sounds that are upsetting to the dog and the best ways to soothe any anxiety for the dog if that is an issue.
A typical day
First I would speak to the dog's people to get a sense of the dog's favorite activities so I could plan accordingly. Otherwise, I would love to take the dog to a nice park where there is lots of room to run and play (either on a leash or in a fenced-in area - depending on the owner's instructions)! Long and playful walks would be included in areas with low traffic, to maximize safety.

I work full time M-F 9:00-5:00, but am available after work! On Wednesdays and Thursdays I have more flexibility during the day and weekends are typically open.
