We wanted to make a quick reference to say how pleased we were with Amber this past week. She really took great care of 11 our months old kitten and was very descriptive in her Rover Card/Emails to us while we were away on holiday.  By far, she has been the best pet sitter we’ve had.  We would sure to keep using her from here on out as our pet sitter.  Snowy, the kitten liked her and she paid full attention to him as shown on his all his great great pictures. The only reason I am giving a one star, because Amber appeared to be genuine on the phone and seemed like she was going to take her time — but what I experienced was a rushed and dismissing visit. I understand that Amber had an engagement to visit but if I pay $40 for two visits that include walking and pee break and poop break ... and then on top of that the profile shows Amber no one else , why would I feel comfortable that there was only a pee break and no walking or poop break at all regardless if my dog couldn’t come out. My dog has been abused by men and that was listed in the description, instead Amber sends her husband to my home ... why would you send an unknown man to my dog, someone I haven’t spoke with into my home to get a successful result from a shelter dog ...? Common sense. Whether it was $4 or $40 we pay for a service to be carried out effectively not for people to do what they can. Dogs are creatures of habit, the first time I get that he wouldn’t come out but the second time should have been a visit from her to reinforce trust - no instead I get a notification after 10 minutes into check in that Ambers check in has ended —— and also a picture of my dog clearly scared. I’m truly Disapppointed and honestly Ready to get home so I can basically do what my roommate could’ve done. This is truly sad. I wouldn’t treat your dog or home like that as far as not doing ALLLLLLLL I CAN & then I would never send someone I don’t know into the home to the job I got paid for.
