Hello! My name is Amber, I am 22 years old, and I am a recent college graduate from Portland State University. Ever since I was a toddler, I have had dogs in my life - big and small. Currently, I have a Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu, and Toy Poodle. With all of these dogs, I usually have to walk more than one at once, so I have experience handling 2+ dogs on a leash. My current schedule is unknown thus far due to COVID, however, I hope to be back on Rover once things settle down. Anchorage is my hometown, so I know this city well and can meet you anywhere you need me to be. I can’t wait to meet/care for your pet soon. Thank you for booking! :)

We have a 14-year old, fairly anxious, finicky-about-food dog that we've only left with friends for the past five plus years. Seeking a pet-sitter for a last minute, out-of-town weekend, we turned to Rover.com for the first time and had a wonderful experience. After the meet-and-greet, I knew Amber would be a great dog friend for the weekend we were away. She's friendly, thoughtful and a great communicator. We received many updates and photos while away. With each photo, Franklin looked more relaxed. Despite his age, he still adores his walks, and Amber was very generous with her time, taking him on long strolls with ample time to sniff. We now know we have an exceptional service to turn to for other trips, and a thoughtful dog-sitter our faithful hound will feel comfortable with.
Amber was great with our dog and cat! I would highly recommend her and we are planning to have her watch our pets again.
Amber was great! She picked Jake up quickly which was awesome. Jake gets excited on walks and is very strong but she didn’t have any problems with him. He was extremely happy and playful when she dropped him off!
Amber was great with Murphy! She was able to work with him on some training requests. Amber also sent me updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend and hope she can walk Murphy again in the future.
