I will be moving out of state in May or June, so I will stop accepting new clients in early March and setting my profile to away at the end of April, 2024. I have over 15 years of experience of taking care of dogs, from rambunctious puppies to sleepy seniors, and over fifteen years of taking care of cats. I am available from early mornings to late nights, since I know that's when I can be available for your furbabies. I am working on becoming a dog trainer, and with your permission, will teach your dog to heel, sit, stay, down, and come, though only for 5 minutes (the best possible way for your dog to learn) in a fun, engaging manner that is without touching your dog beyond to pet them for a job well done! I will also keep a special bag for you dog that includes favorite type of toy, treats (if they can have one or not), and will be prepared when going to your dog, including a water bottle and fold up water bowl. (I'll also take care of your cats!)

Amber is amazing! It was our first time leaving our kitten alone, and she did such a great job taking care of him and keeping us in the loop - she is very responsive, and took so many cute photos and videos for us! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter :)

I will also video any behavior that seems odd to me to make sure it's not something to worry over and only call when concerned or in emergency situations. A text can be ignored. A call is serious. I also do not intentionally store photos of your pets on my phone. They will be deleted after the stay.

Yes, I would like to know about your dog, or cat (or both), before I walk or sit with them. This way, you can be reassured about me and they can meet me in a neutral setting. I have no breed preferences, as I love and adore all dogs (and cats!).
A typical day
The walks will be to places loved by your dog. To new adventures, to long relaxing leisure strolls. Walks to a park where we can play fetch or tug (if you want your dog to play tug) in a safe environment, to games in your yard. Play, training, and walks, along with some time to relax while stretched out in their favorite, allowed, place. And for your cat, they'll love games of chase and hunt, along with pets and treats, and their own little bits of training. All of these are on top of what you need done for your dog, and cat, first.
