Pet care experience
I am a born and raised Oregonian with a passion for animals! My whole life I have been surrounded by animals as I grew up on a farm right here in Central Oregon. I have owned and cared for all types including, but not limited to horses, cattle, dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, poultry, and various types of small furry creatures. Currently I live with my fur baby LouLou (a 38 pound rescue Dalmatian) on a several fenced acres just west of Tumalo. Lou has never met another fur friend that she didn't like and she is always looking for a new play buddy. I have worked for many years in animal care including employment as the Shelter Manager at one of our local Humane Societies. I have experience in everything from bottle feeding newborn puppies to administering subcutaneous fluids and oral medications to senior dogs in hospice care. I have been trained in canine and equine first aid, so if there are any scrapes or scratches obtained out on the trail I can get them patched up right away. Rest assured that your pets will be treated as if it were my own while in my care. I am a licensed and insured pet sitter. Pet care is not only my passion, but my full time career. Amber was awesome! We were only in town in bend for a long weekend and wanted to have our pup watched for the day while we went on a long hike. Our pup lived amber from the start, and she is usually standoffish with strangers! The property is also amazing for pups. Would definitely use Amber again.
Amber was fantastic! She took care of my beagle that has some problematic behaviors and did great! I didn’t think anyone would be up for the challenge but she was! I think I am going to have a tired and worn out beagle for a few days now ?
Amber was wonderful! She made herself available last minute to watch my large breed Moose. She sent photos and gave regular updates. Looks like he had such a great time and I’ve never seen him fall asleep so soundly. I highly recommend Amber for your pet!
I really can't say enough about how amazing of an experience Sage had with Amber. We contacted her somewhat last minute for a week long stay for our Aussie. She welcomed him like family and we felt so comfortable the whole time we were gone. She took him for hikes and he had playtime constantly, we also received picture and updates regularly. When we picked him up yesterday at noon he was so tired all day he couldn't keep his eyes open. Im really not sure who had the better vacation, but it might have been Sage!

I have a hunger for hiking! I love the great outdoors and prefer to spend as much time as possible outside. For those active pups, we can enjoy a good hike in the woods or down the river trail or a dog park adventure. Some senior pups may prefer a short stroll and then rest under a shade tree. Just let me know your dogs favorite places and I will do my best to accommodate.
