I have over 11 years of experience caring for and having dogs in my family's home! We got our very first dog (a Sheltie/American Eskimo mix) when I was only 5 years old. Of course my parents did a majority of the work at that age, but I started caring for her when I was only 10 years old. Sadly, Muffin passed away in 2015 due to cancer. She was 16 years old when she passed and lived a wonderful life as we took care of her well. When we first brought Muffin into our home, she was only 2 months old. Growing up with and caring for her throughout all of those years taught me a tremendous amount about the many needs of dogs and how they should be treated and loved throughout every age phase of their life. Three months after Muffin passed away, our family got our current dog, Zoey! She is a lovable Teddy Bear (Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix) and at only a year old, she is already one of the most spoiled puppies I have ever known! Everyday her energy and playfulness keep me on my toes and moving fast! At 21 years old and having already owned two dogs, I not only have the experience of caring for dogs, but just as equally important, have an immense love and appreciation for them. That is why I would absolutely love to meet, walk, and care for your furry friend who would be treated as my own!
