Pet care experience
I am a veterinary technician that has experience both in emergency and specialty as well as general practice. I recently have decided to take a break from the hospital to do more relaxed animal care work; I have a great connection to animals and have several of my own. I can feed, medicate and monitor animals that need special care. I was raised on a ranch and had the joy of growing up surrounded by the love of animals both big and small. The amount of time I’ve spent around them has made me a good pal to the four legged ones that need it. I have a large crate if needed and plenty of space for a well behaved canine or feline on my family's ranch. I am willing to follow owner's schedule for feeding, medicating, etc.

Disease status is something I would request information about, and please have medication schedule and that you have enough meds for the extent of your gone time. I like to know specifics on how much they eat and how many times per day, and if their behavior changes in any way when it’s feeding/medicating time or if they tend to bite or growl at any time, especially those that are touch sensitive and don’t like hands around the head or face.
A typical day
I like to use my pet’s favorite toys for playtime so if your pet has toys we can go anywhere dog friendly (supervised and on a leash) and my dog has plenty of toys to spare. I am living on a ranch with lots of open pasture (supervised and fenced in of course) and plenty of walking space.

I am going to be starting a full time position at the end of the month so my availability will change soon, but for now it is almost completely open aside from some weekends I have trips planned.
