I've lived with and cared for many different animals for most of my life. I'm open to all breeds, ages and abilities and have trained dogs in the past.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Amber. I am disabled with 3 dogs who needed some adventure in their world. I couldn't have found a more perfect fit. She enthusiastically took on all 3 dogs and they not only came back from their walks a happy little family they had acquired manners; an extra bonus. If you are looking to put a smile on your pooch you can't go wrong with Amber.

I live near the South Hill dog park, and there is very large open walking area next to my apartment. I believe in getting dogs out for a walk every 2 - 4 hours and try to take them with me on short weather-permitting car rides. I believe in socialization and maintaining a good activity level.

I am open to all breeds (my apartment complex does not restrict dogs by breed - only aggressiveness) and have experience with less-social dogs. Although any off-putting behaviors do not necessarily disqualify a sit, I would like to know what to expect so that I can work on managing and utilize training skills for these behaviors.
A typical day
I have plenty of access to some wide open space around my area. I like to visit the South Hill dog park, Dishman Hills, High Drive bluffs, etc. There is also a great walking area just outside of my apartments.

Availability
I'm able to work from home by choice, so I can hang out with your fur-friend during the day. I'm available both weekdays and weekends. I travel once per quarter for work for a week at a time, but generally have a lot availability.
