Growing up on several acres of land we always had animals and when I was old enough they became my "chore." I loved playing and caring for animals, especially the dogs. I thought growing up I wanted to be a Vet but I learned pretty quickly that death of an animal was too hard for me. I decided that caring for others was still something I wanted to do and decided to become a nurse. I have never lived a single day of my life with out a dog and don't imagine that I ever will!
