I have been around dogs my whole life. I rescued my first dog 5 years ago and loved every minute of being a dog mom. I am 24 years old and some people call me a crazy dog lady because I am super excited to meet all the dogs and learn about them. Dogs are a huge passion of mine. I go to school full time. I have been thinking about doing Rover for years but never pulled the trigger until now since I finally have a house with a huge backyard! I have a dog that loves to play with other dogs and we enjoy walks. I live with two other guys who love dogs as much as I do. Meaning the dog will always have someone there to play with and have some snuggles. As a dog owner I know how hard it is to leave your dog and how much you miss them. I would give you updates and pictures and let you know how they are doing. Not to mention your dog would be in company not just of humans but another dog hopefully making them feel more at ease.
