***PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELLOW, we may be a great fit for your pups or you may be better suited to book with another sitter.*** We started as hosts on Rover because we have so much love for all animals and already do dog sitting through other formats. We have a smoke-free, three story home in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Come stay at KenZoo Doggy BnB for that home away from home experience. We are the proud Furbaby parents to: a sweet little Chihuahua/Pekense Mix Rescue Pup named Khaleesi! She is instagram famous check her out (Chuglybetty). Khaleesi has a brave sweet little sister a Chihuahua named Arya who is 8 months old! We also have the <b>2 most sweetest dog tolerant kitties</b> you could ever meet. My husband and myself are actively involved in the animal rescue community of Philadelphia. We often volunteer with ACCT and the SPCA. Typically we have at least one rotating foster pet as well. We are in charge of TNR in our neighborhood. I'm a former employee of Street Tails Rescue and former PETA Volunteer. We work with Alley Cat Allies. We offer personalized and campossiante pet care in the Fishtown/East Kensington.

Both her and her husband are wonderful people and we instantly got a very friendly and good vibe from them. They seem experienced in taking care of pets, having two dogs and one cat of their own. Easy to contact, quick to respond, flexible on drop off/pick up times, texts updates with photos. Very happy with her service. Highly recommend and would use again in future. Thanks Amber!
Amber Lynn and her family are excellent. Amber is kind, compassionate and very communicative. We were leaving our rescue pup in her hands for the first time, making us a bit anxious/not knowing how well our pup would manage. Amber sent us adorable pictures everyday and was very responsive when we checked in (she actually checked in with us more than we checked in with her, it was great). Our vaycay was all around a wonderful experience. Very highly recommended.

We are best suited for medium energy level/ more submissive personalities, and dogs who are content to chill out when I am out and about on errands. We do not discriminate due to breed. Dog must have no aggression towards cats! ** ALL DOGS MUST BE UP TO DATE ON THEIR FRONTLINE PLUS OR K9 ADVANTIX or similar as well as all vaccinations.** A brushing and/or grooming is definitely appreciated before arrival, as dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. We welcome spayed and neutered dogs. Dogs must be solid in their house training (no new potty training graduates). If your dog has multiple accidents in our home you will be responsible for any damage to home and property or cost of cleaning and supplies. We Strongly suggest a Meet n Greet before new clients booking with us. **PLEASE NOTE: RATES ARE FOR ONE 24 HOUR PERIOD.** i.e. IF YOU DROP OFF AT 9AM YOU MUST PICK UP BY 9AM, OR EXPECT TO PAY AN EXTRA DAY SITTING FEE. (If you'd like an early check-in and/or a late check-out, feel free to message me and we can adjust your rate accordingly. Additional charges will never be more than the cost of daycare. A typical day
We are just blocks from Palmer Doggie Depot (dog park). We love taking our guests there to play and socialize! On Facebook: PalmerDoggieDepot We have a couch, several plush doggie beds, doggie teepee! and plenty of space to play - and nap of course. We provide toys and treats multiple bowls of fresh water. We have a gated backyard as well for some outdoor Potty & Play time. Dogs get minimum 2 walks per day (in the morning and after dinner) and a few shorter walks in the afternoons and before bedtime. We will be out of the house for minimal amounts of time each day depending on if it’s a work day or not. On work days (M-F we are out of the house for a full 8 hours) we do offer a dog walking add on service with our lovely walker Paul for an extra fee of $12.50 per walk. Dogs receive tons of attention and interaction. If your dog has special needs, let's discuss it. We do have Nest Cams to keep an eye on pups during the day!
