Pet care experience
I have had pets since I was a young child. Firstly a dog, Kramer, who had medical issues and which I was responsible with learning about his care. I have also had my oldest cat since I was 11 years old, and recently I have acquired three more cats. We also have a new dog who I care for and I love taking him for walks (even though he’s rowdy). I have babysat a newborn kitten for a week before, feeding her from a bottle every 2 hours, helping her poo, and keeping her safe. My one cat, Scruff, who has since passed away, was diabetic and I was responsible for giving him insulin twice a day. I’ve even cared for two hamsters for about 3 months

We love Amber! She is reliable, stays in contact with us and sends videos and pictures of our cat.
Amber was wonderful! I felt like Jorge was safe and well taken care of while staying with her. My boyfriend and I were on a backpacking trip and even though Amber knew we wouldn’t have good service she sent constant updates! I have a senior dog who is blind, and every time I was able to turn my phone on there was an update and a photo which really helped put my mind at ease! When I picked Jorge up he was happy and looked well cared for! I would definitely use her again!
Amber was great! She handled our high energy boy with no issues. She was flexible, considerate and so kind. She sent lots of videos and photos so we could see the fun she and our dog were having together. We would love to work with her again in the future.

I love taking dogs for walks and letting them sniff everything, as I believe smells are most important for dogs. I like finding the nearest park, if there is one, and taking them around

Availability
I am always able to find time! I do work a full-time job as a behavioral health therapist, so pets that can not be left alone for more than an average work day won’t be the best fit for me! However, I am always free on the weekends.
