Our family loves fur babies

Pet care experience

Our family loves animals of all kinds. We have a maltipoo named Olive, a barn cat named Midnight that has adopted us, and a rabbit named Copper. We use Rover ourselves when we have to be out of town and we have had such a great experience that we’ve decided to give sitting a try for ourselves. Since we can’t keep adding to our fur family we will be happy to borrow yours. Your pet will be inside with us and would also probably love some time in our 4000 square foot doggy pen. We can’t wait to meet your fur babies.

This was my first experience with Rover and I’ll admit I was nervous leaving our 8 week old puppy while we went to a beach rental that want pet friendly. Amber and her family were absolutely amazing. She was so laid back and kind and kept us updated with pictures and videos through the stay. Her children were so sweet. I think our puppy, Tombo, had as much fun on his vacation as we did! I would recommend Amber to anyone and would not hesitate to let Tombo stay again in the future. Thank you so much for making this experience so pleasant and easy.

Amber is fantastic! Chaco has the best time visiting their home and is well taken care of. She keeps us posted on all of his adventures throughout the stay. They seem to enjoy him even with his puppy teething! We will definitely be back!

Amber & her family are awesome. Oscar loved his time there & was well cared for by the entire family. Amber sent such sweet pics of him during the stay. It was comforting to know he was in such good hands. Oscar will definitely stay with Amber & her family again.

The majority of the time your pet will always be with me and my children inside our home. That being said we do have sports activities like football and dance that we go to throughout the week. Luckily my husband works from home and will usually be home if I am out with the kids. If in the off chance we both have to be gone for whatever reason then your pet will be staying in the baby gated off area as to make sure they are safe and sound in our home while we are out.

Information Amber L. would like to know about your pet

Does your pet dig? Does your pet jump fences? How is your pet with children and other animals? Are they able to be off of a leash without running away?

A typical day

SLEEPING Your pet would sleep wherever they are most comfortable. We have a mud room that we gate off with a baby gate at night for dogs that don’t mind sleeping on their own. For dogs that need a little more comfort if they are feeling lonely and unsure about the new environment we will usually bring them into our bedroom and they will lay next to our bed on a cozy dog bed. For the pets that have a little more anxiety about being away from their parents and aren’t feeling comfortable sleeping alone, well, these babies usually end up in our bed! So it really depends on your dogs needs and we try to make them as comfortable as possible. PLAYING Playing will consist of indoor and outdoor play. We have a basket full of toys and two energetic kids that love to play with our new friends. There will also be outside play. I usually take all pets outside around 5 times a day. I will walk them while on a leash over to our outdoor fenced area and let them off of the leashes so they can get some running in. While in this area I am always near as to make sure that no one is trying to jump the fence. POTTY BREAKS Potty breaks go hand in hand with outside play time. While in our fenced play area they are free to use the facilities. FEEDING Feedings happen whenever you would like them to happen! All dogs eat at separate times in the gated baby gate area as to insure we don’t have any arguing over who has more food than the other.
