I absolutely love dogs. I have been a dog person all my life. I grew up with dogs, and, when I was 14, my mom adopted a beautiful and shy cocker spaniel mix pup (as a birthday present to me!!), and I was so in love with her. She now lives with my mom, who lives right next to me, so I still get to see her everyday. I had another dog (Loki), who is a lab/German Shepherd mix, but he passed away last year. I have pet sat for a couple neighbours, one family had a duck tolling retriever, and I walked her twice a day, fed her, and hung out with her while her owner was out of town. Another family had two cats, and even though this isn't about cats and cat people, (I love most pets!) I cat sat for her and stayed with her cats while she was travelling as well. The owners were both impressed with how well I did with their animals. Now unfortunately, I don't have contact with either family, as one has passed away, and the other moved away. I now have a one year old labradoodle that I love with all my heart, and would love to make friends! I promise to keep your pets in a safe place, and to take good care.
