Pet care experience
Growing up, I had a very sweet Australian Shepard named Missy who I was lucky enough to love for 10 years. Our favorite thing to do was run around on the golf-course in the evenings that was behind my house. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I lived with 1 adult Pitbull Terrier and 1 puppy Pitbull Terrier - talk about energy! I worked from home during the lockdown and these 2 were my responsibility 5 days a week during the day. I'd take them for hikes, walks, jogs, and even got to help train the pup! In my past as a pet sitter, one of my favorite things to do was write down a funny interaction I had with the family's pet so they had something to read/laugh at when they returned home. I'm a graduate student, so I could use all the animal cuddles I can get! I'm very outdoorsy so if your dog is with me during the day, you can bet we will be outside walking or jogging (if not too hot, of course). I'm reliable when it comes to appointments and a pleasant, neat house guest. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Amber was great! We have two dogs and were completely comfortable having her stay in our home and take care of them. Our trip was a lot more relaxed knowing we had someone watching them that truly enjoyed them. We will be using her again for sure!

Amber was so sweet with our pup while we were camping! We had a change of plans and needed to find someone two days before our trip and Amber was so kind and gladly accepted to watch Maverik! She took him on a hike and to the dog park and even made sure to check with your us if we (and he) would be comfortable with it. She stayed in contact with us and I could really feel she bonded with him. He hasn’t stopped smiling since we picked him up!

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to have pets stay overnight in my home as it goes against the rules of my lease. In the past when visiting clients' homes, I would walk the dogs, check their food/water supply, give them plenty of pets, and make sure we spent a good amount of time playing. I leave the house looking exactly as it was when I came in (except for having to clean up some dog messes here and there).

A typical day
I love to get outside and be physically active, so you can bet we'll be going on walks and doing outdoor activities. I really like going on walks on BYU campus and going on local hikes. Whatever your dogs favorite activity is, I can totally make that happen!

From now until August 11th, I'm available: M: 11:30am-1pm and after 2:30pm T: 11:30am-1pm and after 4pm W: 12pm-1pm and after 3pm Th: 12pm-1:30pm and after 3:30pm F: usually after 10am August 11th-20th: I'm available all day, every day I'll be In Oklahoma for a clinical rotation and unavailable August 21st-October 10th.
