Hello friends- My name is Amber, I am 26 years old and I am an experienced dog sitter looking for new clients. I live in a house near MacArthur BART and have a large yard and plenty of toys and treats that I keep on hand. I have been regularly boarding dogs in my home for the last 3 years and love it! My border collie puppy's name is Pony Boy, he is 9 months old and literally loves every dog he has ever met, so your dog would have a pal to hang out with while here. All of my friends have dogs so we are a generally very social household. If staying in your home I could bring him along or keep him at home- whatever's clever :)(: Dogs are my life- if it were up to me I'd have 10+, maybe someday!

Amber watched my dog Thor over the Thanksgiving holiday. He came back tired and happy! I wish we had received more detailed updates on how he was doing during the stay, but considering he came back looking happy and healthy that's all that matters!
This was our first Rover experience, and we are very happy we went with Amber! She made everything super easy and sent us updates/pictures during our 10-day trip. Most importantly our pup Sadie had a lot of fun and got along great with Amber’s dog :)
Amber was great! Freddie was a tired happy puppy when I got her back.

I work from home and am here about 75 percent of the day, so the dogs are rarely alone. I tend to take the dogs to the park every morning and also get in an evening walk

Just what your dogs basic needs are- happy to give meds or specialty food, just appreciate specific details. Please only bring a leash and food- it’s really hard for me to keep track of food and water bowls- I have so many!
A typical day
Generally I wake up, stop to get a cup of coffee and head to the fenced dog park in west Oakland and throw the ball and just allow them to enjoy the fresh air and socialize. When they’re all tuckered out I like to give each of them a bone to enjoy while I get back to work, and then they play outside in the backyard and hang out inside with me on the couch off and on.

As I said I am home majority of the day, we get one park experience in daily, sometimes 2- and then another walk, backyard social Time and potty breaks super regularly
