A second home for your fur baby!

Pet care experience

We have had pets of all kinds since we were kids. This includes small to extra-large dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens and goats! In June 2019 we sadly said goodbye to our 100lbs Mastiff/Lab mix, Odysseus, after 11 years of love. And in February 2020 we adopted a Husky/Rottie mix from PRC. We have experience administering oral and topical medications. We have also administered subcutaneous fluids to one of our cats. Amber and Frank volunteer at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. Frank has taken dog training classes in the past as well.

We live in a 3 bedroom Townhouse within a gated community. It is approximately 1800 square feet. Our neighborhood is very pet friendly and has no weight or breed restrictions. We have two large fenced in dog parks in our neighborhood, and taking your dog for a walk is no problem at all! There are lots of trees and grass all around.

Information Amber V. would like to know about your pet

Now that we have a dog in our home again, we will require a meet and greet before booking. How does your dog get along with other dogs? How does your dog get along with cats? Is your dog allowed on your furniture or bed at home? Any special care or diet needs? How often does your dog need to be walked? At what time of day do you typically feed your dog? Is your dog currently on flea prevention?

A typical day

Walking a loop throughout our neighborhood is approximately 1 mile long. There is lots of grass and trees, so we can keep your dog's feet safe from the hot sidewalks and roadways. We also have two fenced in dog parks at the end of our block. If your dog is a lover of car rides, we will happily take them!
