Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Amber, and I'm so excited you're here! I LOVE animals of any sort-- I have personally had dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats, reptiles, exotic fish and even a hedgehog. I have had professional medical training through working at an emergency veterinary clinic in the area and am well educated on how to approach dogs of any personality, how to detect when an issue needs medical attention and how to administer certain medications. I'm very active and outdoorsy so your pup will not be neglected of the physical activity needed. My home is theirs, nothing is off limits and no crates unless preferred. I have years of foster experience and have been active on Rover for over 8 years. I know how hard it is to trust someone with a member of your family so please do not hesitate to ask any questions, I would love to be able to give your babies the best experience possible!

Very nice and professional. Amber went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were comfortable with her. Our hyper pitbull puppy wasn't to much for her. Both dogs took a liking to Amber immediately. Both were fighting for her attention. My wife and I definitely will use Amber again.

I have two cats and a dog in the home, all of which will be in private rooms for the duration of your pets stay. My pets are not unfriendly, however I am big on responsible introductions which may take longer than time allows. Your pet will have free range of the upstairs of my home and I may crate them if needed. My home does have a backyard, but it is unfenced.

A typical day
I love adventuring and would be excited to keep up your pets routine! Whether that's going to the park for a long walk, visiting friends at the dog park, or jumping in the lake for a swim, I am always happy to get out the house for some fresh air and exercise. If your pet isn't too keen on the outdoors, we have plenty of ways to mentally stimulate them at home. Having engaging play time coupled with some fun rewarding puzzles, we'll find your pets favorite way to eliminate boredom.

Availability
I work from home full time so I will be available to monitor and engage with all pets as often as they'd like! On the weekends I do typically pick up part time shifts, so my schedule may vary- however, I am typically not gone for more than 4 hours at a time.
