Hi, I'm Amber and I found Rover while I was transitioning careers. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: I've been a Professional Pet Sitter since 2016, and actively raising, caring or volunteering with pets for over 3 decades. My clients love my clear communications, my unique voice to recap their pet's activities for the day, and my photography which captures a variety of candid, posed and action shots. The fur kids see me arrive and know there's fun in store, so don't be offended if they forget to toss you a backward glance to say bye! PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: From Sheltie puppies to Great Danes, and with all kinds of personalities, I have always loved animals more than most people. My calm, even demeanor helps to set a tone with all of my charges-- mutual respect and guidance follow. My husky/pit fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge in 2020 so I'm taking a break to solely be a dog nanny for now.

Amber took such great care of my high maintenance dog! She kept his coat well groomed, learned how to do his physical therapy exercises and took him to appointments. I loved getting daily updates and felt good knowing he was safe and happy with Amber while I was away.
Amber went above and beyond to care for my pets. She even took my dog for a vet appointment and picked up medication for a hot spot. I knew they were all safe and well cared for while we were away and she was happy to send regular updates with lots of pictures.
Amber is great! She is always very quick to respond to our requests and is very flexible to accommodate our schedule... our dog Maverick loves his walks with Amber!
Amber is great! Highly recommend! She gives Rosie a break during the day with a long walk and play time. Luv the reports and pics!

I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, ages and attitudes, and I like to bond with them to understand their demeanor before interacting with any outside influences. Of course I will work within their established routine and the owner's expectations at all times. Though care is being conducted in your home, I routinely work outdoors with other pets so I take precautions and ask the same, that pets be current on vaccines, canine flea & tick prevention for the well-being of all.
A typical day
I enjoy the great outdoors so your active pets won't be bored, but I'm mostly a homebody who loves to cook and craft so the less active pets are also entertained!

Availability
Since I work from home, I am blessed with more availiability to give your pets the attention and care they deserve in your absence. **Please note that for stays longer than 3 days, your pets must be ok with reasonable intervals of 2-4 hours home alone for errands and appointments, or a stand in sitter must pre-arranged.**
