I consider myself to be a life-long animal lover. I believe every animal is an individual deserving of respect, love, and understanding. This will be my approach to your beloved pet- getting to know them and care for them as individuals. My family had the same grumpy, silly dachshund since I was 8 years old, and he lived to the ripe old age of 16 (pretty long for a doxie). I grew up with many different dogs (lots of sizes and temperaments) around my extended family. Currently I have two mini rex rabbits who have been under my care for 5 years. I have volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society with rabbits as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary with both cats and rabbits. I have also house-sat for a people with cats and dogs in the past. I interned at a farm animal sanctuary with pigs & goats along with dogs & cats on the property as companions. I helped watch them when the property owners were away. As you can tell, I love animals and have years of experience with many different kinds.
