Hello! I'm Amber and I have owned dogs since I was 6 years old! Animals have always been my passion, from taming barn kittens as a child, to taking my dogs in 4-H, to now that I'm an adult, working as a foster home with a local rescue! I live in my grandparents old farmhouse with barns that sits on approximately 3 acres surrounded by fields, along with my 3 year old daughter. It's a beautiful place to live especially since I've known all the neighbors since I was a child. I am currently getting my master's degree and have reached the clinical portion so my work schedule varies. I am an avid pet owner and have 2 dogs of my own plus 7 cats! Our dogs are Akira, a 9 year old spayed husky, and Mandi a 7 year old spayed pitbull. Our cats range in age from 12 years to 4 years and are all used to dogs of all sizes. So even if your dog is not necessarily cat friendly, only two of them are indoors and they all know how to behave around dogs who want to chase. My dogs have never met a dog they didn't like and are not aggressive. In fact Akira is great at diffusing tense situations! My new work schedule will hopefully allow me to be home more throughout the week and I'm always open to see what we can work out! I look forward to getting to meet lots of new dogs and make some new friends for my girls along the way!
