I was raised on a big ranch where we had horses, cows, pigs, ducks, chickens, ferrets, cats, dogs, goats, pigeons... just about everything honestly. As an adult I've had the pleasure of rehoming feral cats/kittens, dogs that needed some extra love & attention and helping various wild animals get back to where they should be. Most of my animal experience is personal (own pets and volunteering at shelters) and/or learned from my Grandpa ; I did work as a Vet Tech for a short time in OR where I learned basic vet care and that my heart is way to soft when it comes to our animal children..
