Pet care experience
I love all dogs as if they were my own. From big to small, my goal is to make their time with me a blast while also getting their exercise. I’m a very active, on time, and adoring pet sitter and dog walker. I take their safety and comfort seriously. I’ll make sure they are prepared for heat or cool weather, and make sure they are well hydrated and given snacks as well. I look forward to making my clients and their fur babies happy with compassionate service. I can help with your dog's specific needs or wants as my clients direct me. I live in a safe and pretty quiet neighborhood that is very dog friendly and has a park too. I can play with your dog as you like, with their personal toys (as provided). I have taken care of friends’ pets in the Bay Area as I’d lived there for a number of years, but look forward to expand my experience back here and making some extra money doing something I love in my hometown now. Ambalika Uma is a very sweet person who is extremely responsible with dogs. She has cared for my dog, Bailey, a Labrador Retriever on several occasions including over nights. We live in the Bay Area, and she either takes our dog to her house or she comes to our house. She takes Bailey on several long walks and plays with her often when she is caring for her. I do not currently offer pet sitting services, only walks. With that said, safety is of utmost priority when I take your pets in my care! I will distract and redirect them if we encounter unleashed dogs, I will ensure they do not run near any busy streets, and I’ll make sure to keep treats and water on hand.

Let me know if there are any special needs for your dog. I have mostly taken care of bigger dogs (Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds) of family friends, but would love to expand with my clients and their pups.
A typical day
I keep toys around, love to find safe local parks and paths, and have a lovely pool for dogs to swim in. A typical day will begin with a loving greeting and breakfast for the pup (as provided by clients) and water. Your pups will of course be able to do their business in the yard or on their upcoming walk. It will start off with an hour walk, among the stimulating vegetation in our lively neighborhood. After the walk, some rest is given to your pup, As well as some treats for a good walk. I’ll have toys around, and as clients discuss more of their dog’s personality with me, I can cater their activities to what I can provide them. Near the afternoon/evening, the dog will be given another long walk, and a well deserved dinner. I’ll return them to you after the length of time you’ve specified for that day. Just depends on the schedule!

Availability
As of 10/9/23, I’ll be available from 3:30 PM onward from Wednesday to Saturday/Sunday. As of November 10th, I’ll be able to expand my hours from anywhere in the morning to evening from Wednesday - Saturday. Monday/Tuesday I’m in classes for my MBA program.
