I’m currently working remote in addition to substitute teaching. I have open availability on most days and when substitute teaching I can still happily take care of animals before and after the school day and in the evening.

From my own experience I know very well all animals have their own silly little quirks and things to keep in mind. Please let me know if your animal has any specific behaviors or routines for me to keep in mind as I take care of them!
A typical day
I love to give all animals the same love, care, and attention their own owners would give. It’s important to me that despite their owners being away they still feel loved and taken care of. Taking care of the animals I would ensure they are stimulated though walks, playing games, and able to check out smells in the neighborhood!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds, ages, and sizes almost my entire life. In addition to volunteer experience at shelters, I’ve assisted my family in the development of our very own animal rescue.

I can’t say enough good things about Amaya! She took incredible care of my dog while I was away, treating her like one of her own. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well-loved the entire time. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind.
