I have always wanted to be a veterinarian as a kid and I am now a senior at UNCW studying biology to pursue that. I just finished my minor in assistance dog training and received my certification. I spent multiple days a week with puppies and large dogs from my summer job at a dog daycare. I have taken multiple courses in dog behavior, care, and health. This is the perfect job for me because I believe in the welfare of animals and I want to have more experience around animals for my future career.

Amaya is the best! She stayed with our (2) senior pit bulls for two nights; there was great communication, the dogs received love and attention, and the house was kept tidy. Amaya is dependable and trustworthy, we will 100% be calling her again.
Amaya was incredible!! This was the first time my pup had anyone stay with her that was new to her. She loved Amaya from the moment she saw her. We received many pictures of Nolle while we were away and all of my family commented on how relaxed and happy she was in every picture!! Amaya even taught Nolle a new trick while we were away!! Her background and experience with dog training is awesome and she obviously loves dogs and easily makes connections with them. On top of all that I think my house was cleaner when I got home than when I left. I highly recommend this amazing young lady to watch your pets while you are away!! We will definitely have her back the next time we need a dog sitter!!

I am unable to house a pet in my apartment at the moment, but for caring for your pets in general I always make sure they get enough exercise, always have water, feed them per your request, and make sure they are given enrichment throughout the day!

I would like to know what they enjoy or anything that they don’t like. I would also like to know their behavior around other dogs, people, and children just in case you would like me to take them to the dog park or on a walk!
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks, especially around local parks! Playing fetch with dogs or teaching them new tricks is something I also love to do with dogs!
