Pet care experience
My family and I used to foster animals of every breed since I was young to re-home for adoption and I have had my own dog Bentley for 11 years now. Bentley is a bit of a senior dog but it makes me a versatile pet caregiver whether they are young, elderly, large, small, hyper, shy, etc. I currently provide services for two families on a weekly basis helping out with their pups needs. I have a new kitten that I rescued as well and I am becoming familiarized with the cat world! :)
Reviews
Amaria was great like always. She always communicates with me and answers my calls or text whenever I ask. I will continue to book her and highly recommend you book her as well. Thank you for watching my Looney.
Amaria was excellent. She took her time to come meet and greet Looney. On every visit she made sure she took lots of pictures and spent the right amount of time with Looney. Thank you so much Amaria! You took really good care of Looney.
Amaría is AMAZING! What we really love about her is that she’s very good with our dogs (she handles them very well) and more importantly she’s extremely responsible. She’s always on time, and if she’s ever running behind or has something come up she‘ll always let us know. I can’t recommend Amaria enough to take care of your pets!!!
Amaria was wonderful. She provided excellent communication and was very prompt in her arrival times. We would definitely request Amaria again in the future. Highly recommended.

I currently do not provide care for pets in my residence since I do live in on-campus housing. However, whilst conducting drop-in visits for animals I usually fill up the pets food bowls and water bowls based on the owners direction as well as let the pet out to use the bathroom and throw around a tennis ball or tug of war if toys are provided and take care of any special requests. During walks, I will usually put on the pets harness/leash walk them up and down the street letting the animal stop whenever as needed. I will also fill the food and water bowl back up before leaving.
Information Amaria D. would like to know about your pet
I find it would be important to know ahead of time things that the dog doesn’t prefer or triggers whilst going on walks so I am sure to avoid them. Also I find it would be important to know if a dog shows signs of aggression toward newer people before I come in for drop-in visits. I have rescued many dogs so I am aware of boundaries when meeting any new animal however, I still find it important for a little background before meeting :)
A typical day
I love to incorporate a dogs favorite activities in what we do together. If that includes playing fetch or tug of war with their favorite toys or just giving lots of pets and love. I like to see what kinds of personality each dog has so I tend to let them take the lead while playing the first few times so I can see what they are interested in. While going on walks I know of a few dog parks that we could stop by and enjoy along the way.

I am a college student who uses Rover as an outlet to meet new furry faces and help around the community. Rover also helps me because I put my earnings toward my living expenses while away from home in college. Pet caregiving fits both into my daily and weekly routine as I am only scheduled classes two days a week so I have plenty time to fit you into my schedule 💞 Disclaimer- I don't accept walks, ONLY DROP-IN VISITS, after 7pm
