Hi, my name is Amanda W. I am from Wichita, Kansas and I recently graduated from MCPHS University with my doctor of optometry degree. I now am an ocular disease resident at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, but I enjoy pet sitting in my free time to make a little extra money. I also just enjoy helping out when someone needs. From a young age, I grew up with three cats, I loved to help care for them. For the care of cats, I have experience in feeding, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, giving medicine, and more. I even have my own cat, named Milo, that I have raised from an 8 week old kitten until now. He is 5 years of age. Further, I also have experience with caring for dogs. Not only do my parents back home have a golden retriever named Mia, but I have watched and cared for puppers throughout my first 3 years of optometry school. For the care of dogs, I have experience in playing ball, walking, giving medicine, and again much more. In all that being said, I have been a pet sitter on Rover for just over 4 years now, and would like the opportunity to help others during my year of residency.
