What do I like about the idea of boarding with a person as opposed to a vet/kennel? 1: They won't have to sleep alone at night- I sleep by all my boarders for nighttime potty breaks if needed! 2: Training - I often get asked if I train other dogs when I'm out training my own. I don't, but if your pup if trainable I'm happy to and keep them engaged, happy, and confident. 3: Low volume of dogs coming through- I'd only have one or two boarders as opposed to 10+ in a typical kennel/dog daycare environment. Drop off/ Pickup Availability: Weekday: 5:30pm-8pm (later, if absolutely needed and arranged) Weekends: Completely flexible While I am not home, I have a CAMERA setup to watch the dogs. I have several XL dog crates, if they're needed, so don't worry about bringing one unless you absolutely would like to. I treat my dogs like they are my children- I'd treat yours equally to ease any stress they may experience being in a new home, with someone new. I'm a huge animal lover, animal advocate, and animal saver. I'd want your dog to feel as comfortable as he/she can while on their stay with my family and Archer! My boys will love having company and play mates, if their personalities mesh well. ***I do have cats - so your dog must be okay with them in the sense that they wouldn't kill one- for the most part my cats will avoid contact.
