Friends and family know that I love to point out every dog and cat I see when we're walking, driving, or even studying. They also know I love to stop and ask to pet every dog I meet. If by chance you have kittens or puppies that need socializing, I would be happy to help with that. I always have my phone on me, though I promise 100% of my attention will be given to your pet, I can send as many updates about your fur baby as you need. I've grown up with at least three dogs in the house along with several types of animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. Feel free to discuss with me if you have unusual pets! In college, I adopted my first cat who has single handedly taken over my heart. I petsit for friends and family regularly as they know and trust me. I also pet sat for Rover for about three years before taking a break for school but recently decided to pick back up again. Starting with your second booking with me I offer every fifth night free or every 10th drop in free; excluding bookings that occur during a major holiday and bookings with more than four pets included. Amanda was wonderful! She was flexible, punctual, and very thorough. She came to meet us and visit our two kitties the day before she was set to do drop in visits. We’ve never hired a pet sitter before, and the visit really helped put us at ease. While we were gone, she sent very detailed updates, and great pics. Amanda is a real pet person, and clearly understands that your pets are your family. We would definitely love to have her watch our babies again. Thank you, Amanda!!
Amanda house/cat sat for our 2 sibling ragdolls girls for a 1 week while we vacationed, and she was absolutely amazing! We received lots of pictures and updates. She brushed the girls during the week which is a tremendous help to keep the mats away as they can mat within a week if not brushed - no mats! Our house is currently on the market and Amanda was extremely flexible and accommodating when the realtor asked to show it. She made sure things were picked up and cleaned up for the showing. When we returned, the house was as clean as we left it. The girls were happy to see us when we returned home, but they had obviously been well cared for and showed no adverse negative behavior. We would not hesitate to request Amanda's services again and look forward to working with her in the future. The process through Rover was easy and gave us a sense of security knowing the service was backed by Rover and, Lord forbid, vet services reimbursed up to 25k.

Amanda was great! It is always nerve-wracking trusting a new person into your home with your animals, but Amanda was wonderful! She took care of our two cats and was kind enough to even water some of our backyard plants while we were gone when we asked! She sent us pictures and updates on the cats too. We will definitely be using her again!

I want to take care of your fur baby just as much as you want a good sitter so in order to ensure no miscommunications I would appreciate knowing the following: -any medications needed during my time with your pet? - any allergies? - Any issues with other pets or humans? - what does your feeding schedule look like? - Is your pet crated or not? - how do you usually discipline/reward your pet? - Have they been walked/petsat by someone unfamiliar before? - are they good on a leash? - are the microchipped or not?
A typical day
My petcare will be mostly limited to cats, and having watched and played with many different personalities over the last few years, I understand each cat has their own preferred level of human interaction and energy needs.

I currently volunteer part time at UC Davis Health during the week so my time is more than open for drop ins and overnight stays. My schedule is flexible so I can be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
