If there is one thing missing in my life it is dogs. I have always been a dog lover and have been fortunate enough to own two dogs throughout my life. Now that I am unable to adopt my own dog due to financial limitations it would be incredible to become a dog sitter. Nothing brings me joy quite like seeing a dog so excited to go for a walk or play fetch and it would be a joy for me to care for your dog while you are away. Through owning two dogs and caring for my friends' dogs I have about ten years of experience. My family and I adopted a german shepherd and a golden retriever as puppies and I have cared for many different breeds including small terriers and a Great Dane. I have experience taking care of special needs dogs who require medicine, eye drops, and suffer from Megaesophagus and have a difficult time keeping food down. With this experience, I know the importance of understanding a dogs needs and how to meet those needs. While I do work full time Monday through Friday, my schedule is flexible and I am typically free all nights and weekends. This flexibility allows me to spend as much time with your dog as possible and make your dog a priority. I love walking dogs and am willing to travel anywhere throughout the city to care for your dog. My flexibility and experience with all types of dogs makes me your ideal dog sitter for any getaway.
