Hello Pet Owner, I’m Amanda! Often referred to as Auntie, I have watched many different dogs and cats over the years. From large cane corsos to baby chihuahuas, long hair cats to short hair cats - I love them all. I call myself the crazy “aunt” because I get to have a ton of fun and keep your pet happy, but eventually they go home (just like my adorable nephews). It’s a great time for me when I get to have a furry companion. I am a very versatile dog sitter. I will ask a lot of questions about your friend to ensure their time with me is enjoyable and seamless in transition. I enjoy watching animals at my home, but I do not mind house-sitting or dropping by (I find animals are on their best behavior when they are comfortable in their personal surroundings and I respect their needs). As an active person I am happy to take pets out for long walks, hikes, runs, parks, and other social places if the breed warrants play-time, but enjoy the calm and solo stroll to smell the flowers too. I’m very regimented and will stick to routines to help keep a pet satisfied, scheduled, and trained. I know how important providing medication, specific amounts of food and feeding schedules, regular bathroom breaks, play, and consistent training are to a happy and healthy animal. I usually spend my time with a pet like they were my own because I do not own one myself, so your furry friend will get a ton of one-on-one love and attention from this aunt. I’m excited to meet your family and help them have fun while you’re away on your adventures! A few more things: I am a teacher that works 7:30-3 Monday-Friday, so your pets are guaranteed two walks a day. If you’re located 15 min or less from PHS, I can relieve dogs during lunch hours. On weekends, I usually spoil my furry companion with an outdoor adventure (if they’re up for it) and have the luxury to walk pets and take them out as often as needed. I am close the Cherry Creek State Park, have fenced in dog play area in my community, and live right near a 1 mile loop around a local park. ~Amanda
