Let me love yours too!

Pet care experience

MY CURRENT SCHEDULE: Doggie Day Care: Mondays, Wednesdays*, & Fridays (*Wednesday DayCare is currently full*) Walks and Visits: Tuesdays and Thursdays Boarding: everyday! *I take unfixed puppies up to first birthday* As an avid dog enthusiast, I have many friends with dogs that visit and a very dog friendly household. I am a lover of all dogs having personally adopted small, medium, and extra large breeds with hair, fur, and fuzzy fur! All of my furbabies have stayed with me from puppyhood through geriatrics. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever Mix and an English-Cream Golden Retriever. Before Rover, I cared for many dogs (even long term), they have overlapped and needed varying levels of care and attention. We are flexible! With Rover I have seen over 200 pups come through, and I love every one! I've had diabetic, geriatric, epileptic, and all sorts of medicated pups as well as the newly vaccinated youngest puppy in my care. We have a strict policy that I administer all meds, but for all other care we currently have 3 additional adults in the house that all pitch in and enjoy the pups. (no really they love my job too :)

As always, Charlie loved the pack. Amanda and her family know how to handle dogs being firm yet loving . She has an environment that allows lots of exercise and socialization.

I sincerely don't think you can find a better place to leave your dog. The vibe, the care, the love. Amanda and her family do the absolutely best with your dog and even go above and beyond and somehow make them come a better version of themselves. I will truly struggle to even fathom to consider leaving Cucu somewhere else that is not with her. We absolutely loved her and would, without a second of hesitation, leave our dog always there first, knowing he'll be in the best hands possible. Simply the best.

Amanda is incredibly good at what she does. I left my yellow lab, Zeke, for a full week, never having boarded with Amanda before. From the very first contact planning the stay, everything was perfect. The communication was great, the actual stay was fabulous, complete with daily pictures of Zeke and his dog pals he was hanging with. He got exercise, diet and supplement instructions followed exactly, even a bath at the end. Amanda is also a really sweet and responsible person. I could not leave a more positive review, highly, highly recommend.

I have a fenced in yard with a double gated entrance just like the dog parks. The yard is round pea-stone and turf so there is minimal dirt (although the slobber is another story). The 4 foot fence is locked on the main road side, it has top and bottom rails so no one is going underneath, the gaps at the gates are blocked securely. There is even chicken wire behind our lattice work under the porch. Sadly I can't fix the 4 ft jumpers, 8 lbs-110lbs have been safe and secure otherwise!

Breed, temperament, dog friendly, and cat friendly rank highest. Feeding procedure (if there is one), whether a crate will be required (I have few of varying sizes), and anything unique to your furry-love!

A typical day

All pups are granted full access all day to the first floor including couches unless restricted. Monday/Wednesday/Friday: most of our time is spent outside with 6-10 pups visiting for the day. They are under constant supervision and offered lots of play and love. You are guaranteed a tired pup that evening and maybe the next day! Tuesday/Thursday: I venture out to offer walks and visits at your house. Your pup will enjoy one-on-one time and some freshly made cookies (if allowed) as well as a plethora of doggie smells because my clothes and sneakers are always coated. Boarders: have recovery time built into this schedule and enjoy the added play and snuggle time staying the night. Your pup will sleep in our room on a bed of their choice or crated if preferred. Generally I will board 2-4 pups at a time depending on personalities and familiarity. Feeding is separated until I'm positive it offers no worries, most regulars have learned to stick with their bowl in the space offered and exit when finished. Taylored to your preferences: Slater Park walks, bike path and grass available. Toys are encouraged when appropriate, fetch when interested, and elk antlers always available!
