I can’t remember the first time I met a dog, as animals have always been involved in my life—from riding horses, working with dog and horse trainers for 13 years, to owning pets since I was a kid, to now as an adult. I was exposed early on to a spectrum of dog sizes, breeds and temperaments and am fully prepared to take on any pet challenge that comes my way! Through professional experience, I am now able to provide basic obedience training, am certified in dog CPR and have been working consistently with another pet sitter for the past two years, who has a thriving business and needed someone experienced to lend a hand. I recently left my job as a marketing manager to focus on pet sitting full-time. It was always something I did on the side anyway, and now I am able to focus 100% on what I truly love. This means my schedule is open and flexible, and ready to shape to your pet-sitting needs! I love to learn and am always working to increase my knowledge in training and understanding animals. I understand that it is up to me to read the dog’s body language and adjust how I approach them based on whether they are anxious or relaxed. I show up on time, ready to work, and strive to provide excellent customer service by being accommodating to your needs and making sure you trust me completely. Leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be daunting and I do everything I can to make sure you and your pup are beyond happy with my care. In summary, I am a unicorn—definitely one of a kind! I have skill sets that increase my value as a pet-care professional but I also understand that I have not learned all I can when it comes to animals. I learn from every client I have and can’t wait to see what else I learn from your pup!
