Flexible Sitter that loves all Pets

Pet care experience

As a little girl, I grew up in a household with 3 dogs. They were my heart and soul! I used to love taking them out for walks and playing for hours on end with them in the backyard. Their names were, Katy- a large half Beagle/half Doberman mix, Beauty - our little Sheltie, and Prissy - Our sassy yet protective Dachshund pup. I loved the experience of growing up with so many dogs, that once I went off to college, I rescued a new puppy of my own and named him, Scout. Scout is a large breed, half Catahoula/half Australian Shepard mix, and he kept me plenty busy! He’s a working breed, so I had to grow accustomed to taking him outside to play for, at the least, 3 hours a day. This is about the amount of time he needs everyday to exercise to keep him happy. Unfortunately, when I came to California to attend Grad School in the Fall, I had to leave Scout with my family in Texas. Due to this new void I feel being away from my Pup, I see Rover as an opportunity to help families who want to give their doggos the same love and attention my Scout needs everyday! If you consider me for hire, I promise your dogs will be in the hands of someone who doesn’t just see dog walking as a job, but as an opportunity to give pets the love and care they need when you’re away.

Amanda is great with my fur baby. She is responsible and took care of him as if he were her own. He’s a big guy (100+) and she safely walked him around the neighborhood and took special care of him. His tail wags a lot when she comes over, so I know he really likes her too. Do not hesitate to hire Amanda. You won’t be disappointed!

Amanda is an incredibly hard worker and an amazing caregiver. Not only does she work well with dogs, she treats all animals with the same love and care that she would give even your son or daughter. She understands what it means to leave your companion and family member in the hands of a stranger. Rest assured knowing that letting her watch your furry friend is not only the right choice, but the safest.
