DOG GROOMING: I do home grooming or nail trims on Fridays-If interested: schedule for a daycare and bath and reach out to me for quote on full groom and price adjustment. I make arrangements for elderly or socially nervous dogs and once the groom is complete- you can pick up so no need for your baby to wait all day to go home. I limit grooms to 3 per day. Large play pens separate dogs from each other. I have a full salon in my fully finished basement. I offer pick up and drop off service within 15 miles of 43147. I am a professional groomer with a 400 hour certification in 2001 from the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology and 23 years experience. CAT BOARDING: I I have extensive experience with cat hospice and palliative care, fostered kittens, plus a pet parent to many cats, dogs, hedgehog, guinea pig, button quail and hamsters along the way. I have volunteered for Madison Co Humane Society, Cozy Cat Cottage and Cat Welfare (as well as worked at Cat Welfare). I can administer medication, problem solve issues with stress and loss of appetite. My home is quiet, which is an ideal environment for cats, I also have attended many training classes for dog training and cat related care and disease management. I have contacts with vet professionals and Med Vet is across the street from my home. Volunteering with Cozy Cat Cottage and employment with Cat Welfare Ohio serves as proof of my love and dedication to pets and my extensive experience with Cats in particular. I have been a Hospice Foster for cats and I am able to administer meds and typically do nail trims and ear cleaning. I don't believe in stressing out my visitors and I do all I can to make their stay enjoyable and relaxing. Difficult cats are my specialty and I have forged relationships with some of the spiciest cats in town. ****I based my rates on local boarding and grooming rates with other boarding/grooming facilities. My rates are competitive but where I stand out is the dedication to special needs of your pet-Grooms are expected to be picked up as soon as the groom is complete.(or if you requested a pick up/drop off service-they will be transported safely in a crate to your home at the end of the grooming day-Typically before 3 pm***

Amanda was great during our holiday trip. We got updates every day on our cats’ well being via text message, pictures, and videos of her time with them. She even gave them a special Christmas meal. We had never left our cats in anyone else’s care, but feel we couldn’t have had a better experience. If we ever would need someone to watch our little guys in the future, we would not hesitate to book Amanda. Thanks!

I have a room dedicated to boarding that is on the 2nd floor of my house and it happens to be my office. I clean boxes 3x a day and sanitize bowls, vacuum and mop with pet safe floor cleaner each day. Brushing and play time are a given! If you would like a nail trim and ear cleaning, I can do that for a small fee. I will not stress an animal out-so if they appear too upset for this service, I will refund the fee. The room has a generous window for natural light and it is upstairs far away from the dogs-with a gated stair case so no dogs or my own cats are able to be in the room. I am not shy to say that I have a magic connection with cats. So when they stay with me, they are right at home in no time. I am conscientious of their well being and I monitor bathroom, eating ,water intake and behavior. YOU are promised to get daily photos, videos and updates. Working with animals for so long has provided me with experience and an eye for when things don't seem right. I am fortunate that every boarder I have stay is pleased with the level of care and I take pride in making pet parents feel at ease for trusting me. GROOMING: I have a full salon with professional equipment and experience in my finished basement.

Since I board cats- I like to know if they are sensitive to thunder storms or wind. Do they like to play with catnip, string or balls. What treats can they eat? Any symptoms to look out for-such as an upper respiratory kitty is often triggered in allergy season. Is there a litter preference. I am quite comfortable with fearful cats. GROOMING: I do all breed grooming - reach out for quote.
A typical day
Since I work at home-Cat boarding is ideal for me and the clients. I get a fun break in my day and your pets get to have snacks, cuddles and playtime! I work. in the same room as the boarders; many of my clients have said they wish they had a similar set up to mine for their pets! If the pet parent is comfortable with it- I have a stroller and I can take kitty rides around our neighborhood. Drop ins and Your home boarding will be above and beyond. There will be play time, brushing and games to keep them stimulated. This service also comes with a number of photos, video and updates

I work full time from home. My position is flexible so I am able to come and go from my work which is ideal for taking play breaks and checking in on my furry visitors. I have an office that is in a quiet space with no other animals permitted. Your pet will have free run of this room; no cages, no stress. There is a heated bed, a chair near a sunny window, a sofa and I keep a nanny cam on for night time or if I am out of the house. I have 3 dogs of my own, 4 cats, and two turtles. I do not have children so they get all my attention. All of my own animals are kept completely and safety separate from boarders. I am flexible with drop in visits and boarding in your home. Their safety is my priority. GROOMING: I only groom on Fridays and limit 3 dogs per scheduled Friday: Book as a bath and day care and reach out for full quote and any special arrangements needed for your pet.
