I have had dogs my entire life. My husband and I have now passed our love of animals down to our 3 children, who are great at caring for our own dogs. We are home all day and I would be honored to care for your dog while you are away.

Amanda was absolutely wonderful with my pup, Moose! She sent great updates and Moose came home so happy (like she hadn’t even missed me)! She has 2 dogs that are wonderful companions and great playmates. Moose cant wait to stay with her again!

Caring family and plenty of space to run around! Our one and a bit year old pup had an absolute blast zooming around the backyard with their two labradoodles. Amanda was very accomodating and kept us updated with pictures.
Amanda was wonderful, and I highly recommend her as a dog-sitter to anyone who lives in or is visiting the Ojai / Oak View area. We were staying at Lake Casitas, and leaving our dog (Pooky) at Amanda's house for the day allowed us the freedom to enjoy a long bike ride. Although we've boarded Pooky at a ranch in the past without any problems, this was her first time being left in a new environment and, unfortunately, Pooky was a snappy little brat (probably separation anxiety), but Amanda was very gracious about it. If your dog is known to be aggressive, however, note that Amanda has another dog (a Labradoodle) and young children, so please act responsibly and let Amanda know about any aggressive behavior so that she can decide whether to take care of your dog. But if you're dog is well-behaved, don't hesitate to book with Amanda!

A typical day
Having 3 children we are always running around! We can take your dog on hikes, walks, or just play outside at our house. We have a park in the neighborhood, and live near the beach, so we will definitely show your dog a good time with games of fetch, frisbee, etc!

Availability
Someone is home most of the time, so we can accommodate any schedule you need. We love to be active and go for walks and hikes, but we also have a fenced in yard that your dog can play in. Our own dogs are very friendly and love playing with other dogs.
