Stress-free Stays! (Work from home)

Pet care experience

Hi there! We love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities! My partner, Andrew, and I have recently decided to open up our home for your furry friends! I (Amanda) will still be offering housesitting services while Andrew is leading the boarding while I am not there. Since we both work full time from home and have video calls most days, we cannot accept reservations with loud pets (excessive whining, barking, etc.) or pets that require 24/7 supervision as we will be focusing on work. Boarding: Your pup will be well taken care of with at least 4 potty breaks per day and lots of snuggles! We allow animals on the furniture and will ensure they are fed in separate areas. If your pup is crate trained, please bring his/her crate as we do not have a spare! We currently have 3 small pups, Chorizo who is a senior chi-weenie, and 2 long-term fosters, Marty and BonBon, both chiweenies. They all love to sleep most of the day while we both work from home. We require a meet-n-greet to ensure our pups will get along for the stay (for everyone's safety!) Housesitting: I (Amanda) will continue to offer this service! Staying in your home keeps the stress level down for you pets and to keep them on their usual schedule. On the weekends, I am usually at your home, except for an errand here and there. I am working from home now, so I will be home the majority of the day, with the exception of some errands or a trip to a gym class! I try not to be gone for more than 4 hours at a time. I'm a VERY clean person and will make sure your home is the way you left it, or better when you return from your trip! Please let me know if I can help out with anything (watering plants, grabbing mail, etc.) We treat guest pups as they are our own and they will receive lots of love and cuddles! Amanda has experience with birds, cats, and administering injections (diabetes and IV fluids) for dogs.

Amanda is fabulous!!! She is so caring, attentive and knowledgeable. We were very worried about leaving town while our elderly dog was so sick. Amanda went above and beyond for our sweet old pup and our two younger fur babies:)

Information Amanda S. would like to know about your pet

I don't discriminate against any breed! I have experience with pits, bulldogs, Great Danes, and sheepdogs. Since I work from home and have conference calls, I need to know your pets' bark/whine triggers (knock on the door, other voices, mail man, etc.) and how best to avoid them (especially during video calls)

A typical day

Usually the day starts with a walk or quick potty break! Then it's time for breakfast; followed by another walk or potty break (if fenced yard). I usually start my work day around 8-830am, then provide another walk during lunch time. If there's a fenced backyard or patio available, I will definitely let your pets out more throughout the day! Another walk before dinner, then one right before bed :)

Availability

I currently work from home so I'll be at the house most of the day, however, I do take frequent video calls, so a quiet pup is best. I do fit in potty breaks through out the day (at least every 4 hours).
