Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was about 10. I grew up and cared for a small Maltese mixed dog from when she was a puppy to a senior dog. I watched her through college to my apartment and cared for her as she aged. I bathed her, took her to the vet, and cared for her like family. She sadly passed away 2 years ago, but I have continued to watch and love dogs. I babysit my neighbors small mixed dog and go for walks together, feed him, and play with his favorite toys. I have also watched and cared for many French bulldogs and dachshunds and love them like they are my own.

Amanda did a great job with my dog Lincoln! He’s large and energetic but she had no problem taking care of him. You can tell she truly cares for the dogs she walks. Anyone would be lucky to have Amanda watch their dog — highly recommended, you won’t regret it!
Amanda is the biggest dog lover I know, we can’t go on a walk in NYC without having to stop to say hi to a pup! She has been a close friend for over 7 years and is the absolute best - kind, gentle, responsible. When we lived together she frequently dog sat both of our families’ dogs - small and large! Living in NYC without a dog of her own has left a hole in heart that I’m sure she would love to fill hanging out with some of your furry friends 🐶
Outside of my direct family, Amanda is one of the people I trust most to watch my dog. She is exceptionally caring and loving of all dogs and treats them like family. She has experience with everything from puppies to senior dogs. You could not go wrong trusting Amanda with your dog!
From the moment they met I felt that Amanda made an instant connection with Thor, my long haired dachshund. Amanda has walked and sat Thor multiple times and I couldn’t be happier. She treats him as well as you would want anyone to treat a dog: with love, care, and a devotion to play time. She sends pictures and updates about Thor regularly. I would recommend Amanda to any dog owner.

I keep a clean and organized apartment for all dogs. If the dog has to be caged off I have cages from my old dog. If they need a crate or something I have the space for that or also space for them to stretch their legs. I am able to travel and can come check in on pups in your home if that works. I am happy to play with them there and take them for walks!

Availability
I work from home in midtown east as a Tech Analyst meaning I am home all day and can walk your dog between calls! I can have them sit on my lap or bed and watch me work and feed them throughout the day. My apartment is large enough for all sized dogs and is kept very clean. I am available most days during the week with notice and some weekends. I can come to you or can watch your pup all day from my apartment!
