I have taken care of or have had cats and/or dogs almost my entire life. We currently have a 3 year old cat named Pixie and a 2 year old long-haired chihuahua mix named Toby, a 5 year old long hair chihuahua named Luna and a 5 year old long hair chihuahua named Charlie. They are all part of our family and treated as such!

I was heading out of town on vacation and came to the Rover website. I look for people in my area and found Amanda, but I already knew her, just didn't know that she was a dogsitter. Out daughter's went to the same school, in sports together and Girl Scouts. I texted Amanda to see if she would watch my dogs and she was available and took them in. I knew that I could trust Amanda with my dogs!! She has daughters who stepped in and cared for my dogs like they are used to by my daughter. My dogs did really well with her dogs. Amanda did a great job with my dogs and I will use her again!!!
Amanda watched Kaya for us when we went to Jamaica! Kaya felt right at home! We got daily updates and pictures. If you want piece of mind during your vacation I would definitely recommend Amanda!
I am happy to recommend Amanda to anyone in need of a pet sitter/walker. She is great with animals. She is friendly, prompt, professional and an overall amazing person with a great personality. She watched my dog for a few days while I was out of town, I had only had my dog a month and she was adjusting to a new setting at her new home. Amanda understood the stress she was under being in a new setting and went out of her way to make her comfortable and welcomed. She was well cared for and Amanda is the person I will call if we are in need of a pet sitter again.

We have a large fenced in back yard for dogs to run! My cat does not mind extra dogs in the house and tends to keep to keep to herself. My dogs LOVE other dogs! They love to play and/or just snuggle up on the couch to chew a bone. My children take an active part in caring for the animals and provide unconditional attention and love to them. Our animals are part of our family and are allowed to go where we go. They do not have restrictions on where they can go in the house, except that they are currently kenneled when we are not home (if they are unable to go with us).

I work full time, but I have the ability to go home once during the day if needed. We are typically home during the evening, except for drop off/pick up of activities. I am very flexible on days/times, etc.
