Pet care experience
I was a pre-vet student for 2.5 years before deciding to switch to humans. I had dogs from birth until I was 17 when my family dog passed away. I currently own a 2 cats and 2 chinchillas! I grew up with a Husky, German Shepherd, and Collie so I am super comfortable with big dogs! I live in a smaller apartment so for me to own/host a dog would be unfair to the dog, but I would love to be able to walk/run and play with dogs of all sizes. I grew up with a dog who was on medication and special food so I am good with handling restricted diets, restricted activities, nail trimmings, and giving any kind of medications.

Amanda was amazing. Our pets were well cared for and our house was just the way we left it. Amanda even sent us updates throughout the week with pictures. Would highly recommend her.
We had Amanda again for a drop in service and she did amazing! We love having her!
Amanda did a wonderful job caring friend our two dogs and tortoise. She was punctual, friendly, clean and courteous. When we got home everything was exactly as we left it and the animals were very well taken care of. We will definitely have Amanda back ❤️

I follow the rules the owner informed me of. If they require special care I will provide that care. Will keep the secure on leash/harness and keep an eye on them when outside. I leave your home as if I was never there so you don’t come back to any type of mess. I typically bring all of my own food and toiletries.

A typical day
Will provide tons of pets and love! Will take on walks around area, or to new areas depending on how they do in cars! Any games they enjoy to play I will happily do.

Availability
I am currently going to school, but my schedule is different every 8 weeks. Currently, I am free Friday-Sunday all day. I am gone from 1-11pm on Monday, 6:30a-3:15p on Tuesday, 8:30a-4p on Wednesday and I would be gone for about 12 hours on Thursday. This schedule changes in May.
