Hello! My name is Amanda. I have been watching dogs for years for family and friends,so I decided to join Rover to keep pursuing my love for pet sitting.Growing up in a family that loved and rescued animals, (who also ran a Doggy daycare for years where I helped at) I have cared for a variety of different animals, from hamsters and birds,to cats and dogs . I now own 3 wonderful dogs who I absolutely love! My love for animals has pursued me to work in the veterinary field and I am currently going to school to become a vet tech. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments and am able to handle any kind of dog or cat.Whatever your pet needs are, I can handle and do it all!

Amanda saved me with a last minute booking for an overnight watch. She was thorough with the initial meeting because my 5 month old Black Lab, Toby had never visited there before. Amanda welcomed Toby in, made sure the first introductions with her dogs went well and they made fast friends! I will be booking Amanda regularly hopefully moving forward! Highly recommend her!
Definitely a 10/10 rating for Amanda. We had her taking care of our girls for a day, she did it so great and professional and she also provides pink-up & drop-off services. We will book with her again next time!
Amanda was wonderful watching my dog at my home! She went above and beyond of what I expected. She sent updates and pictures daily. She picked up the dog waste and properly disposed of it. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for their pets to cared for.
Amanda is fantastic, you can tell that she really cares about your dog. Our dog had the best time! Highly recommend!

How does your dog do meeting other dogs and being in new environments? Do they have food aggression ? Does your dog have a medical condition which requires medication ? Are they vaccinated? A typical day
I'm very active and love going on hikes( as well as running )so there will daily walks when your pup is with me if allowed .I know a few beautiful areas to take them around the area and would love to bring them along .

Availability
I have a big ,fenced in yard and a doggie door so your dogs can go outside whenever unless your dogs needs to be watched while outside. I am a student and am normally gone from 2-5 hours a day. I am able to come back home when my days are longer if need be. During the summer and for the month of December and January, I am usually home all the time .
