Hi my name is Amanda! I have been a dog groomer for the last 6 years and have walked and babysat dogs since I was 10. I actually had my own business going in my neighborhood as a kid. My parents were very proud of me. I am a home owner here in grand junction. I have a fully fenced yard and room for potty breaks. I do work at a boarding and grooming facility so taking your pet to work with me is an option. If your dog is social we can play at doggie day care and if you’d like your dog groomed I can schedule you a grooming appointment for an extra charge. if your dog is a barker that’s okay. We have dogs surrounding our house that sing all day so we would just be adding to their never ending song. I have a 9 year old daughter who loves dogs and has been fully trained on how to read dog behavior. She needs to know these things if we have new dogs in the house. She usually creates a bond with the fur babies before my husband and I do. We wouldn’t mind allowing owners to stop by and tour the house and yard if that makes them feel better about leaving their dog. Working at a boarding facility I’ve learned how important that is. If you’re leaving your child and going out of town you’d like to know they will be in a comfortable and easy going environment. I live right across the street from a park so if we have ball brain I have an easy fix.
