Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have helped raise dogs my whole life. Most recently, I had a Border Collie for 12 years and she was the light of my life. We lost her to cancer in January and are looking for a way to share our home with more pets without getting another pup just yet. Dogs are members of the family and we would love to have your dog be an honorary member of ours :)

We loved having our dog stay with Amanda in her home! We were thankful we could enjoy our vacation knowing our fur baby was in great hands! I received updates with pictures often. She definitely cared for our baby like it was her own. We will be booking Amanda again, she’s the best!
Amanda is one of the most loving people I know! Watching her with my dog and cat warms my heart because she is so gentil, kind and patient. You could see all the love, time and training that went into her personal pet and it showed in everyway. Don't get me wrong, she's not a push over, rules will be followed, love and cuddles will be given freely.
It can be hard to find peace of mind when leaving your fur family member behind. You may find yourself riddled with doubt and concern as to the care your fur family member may be receiving. You can honestly rest assured that if you in trust Amanda with the care of your pet, you can leave and truly be able to relax. Amanda is incredibly responsive, loving, intention, and just an excellent pet parent. In being very honest there have been times that I have sought out Amanda’s opinion and help in caring for my dog Ollie after seeing some of the ways she has modeled love abs compassion with her own pet. You truly can’t go wrong if you pick her.
Amanda has done incredibly well with our doggos! We have 3 high-energy fur babies, 2 labs and 1 pitbull terrier. She is very patient, nurturing, and always has the good treats! My wife and I trust her to watch, walk, play, babysit them anytime we go out of town! 10/10 would reccomend Amanda! Give her your high energy fur missiles, and she'll have them worn out and ready for relaxing doggo snuggles when you pick them up for home!

We have a fenced in yard in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We are offering overnight boarding services, checkins at your house if your pet is more comfortable at home, doggo walks. My 8-month-old and myself are a package deal, so your dog must be good with little ones to utilize our services.

Knowing about triggers that could bring about unwanted behavior would be appreciated. Knowing their favorite snacks, toys, what commands they know, things to do to help them feel comfortable when they are away from their parents are all important.
A typical day
We love being outside and going for walks! In addition, if your furry bestie loves to have their B-A-L-L thrown, we can do that again and again in our yard as well! I already narrate the day for my little daughter, and your dog will become part of that conversation too! They certainly won’t feel lonely while staying with us ♥️

I’m currently working PRN as an occupational therapist while being a SAHM to my daughter for her first year, so we have a lot of flexibility! I work a part time job just a couple days a week.
