Pet care experience
Dogs are just so full of happiness and love. They are ready for the world at every opportunity! They bring so much light into our lives and show us how important it is to have a good friend close by. That’s what inspired me to become a dog sitter! Being able to give back to the pups that love us the most is such a rewarding experience, so being a sitter really is a dream come true for me. My one mission is to put a smile on the face of every dog in the world!! I currently have one dog of my own, whom I rescued 3 years ago from the SPCA. She’s now my best friend, and I couldn’t imagine life without her! I raised her from the time that she was a tiny little puppy, and getting to watch her grow was an amazing experience. I also learned about just how much care and attention a puppy needs! My experience with dogs doesn’t just end as a dog owner, as I’ve had several private dog walking clients as well. I’ve earned experience with lots of different pups, including senior dogs and all sorts of different breeds. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the key to a good stay. For me, that starts even before the stay begins, as I like to get as much information from you as possible when we’re first arranging and during the meet-and-greet as well. During the stay, you can expect lots of updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! Likewise, I’ll always keep all lines of communication open, so you can get in touch with me at any time, in case any questions or concerns arise.

Amanda was great! We needed someone to check in/walk our 5 month-old Doberman puppy (Bruno). Amanda was quick to respond and communication throughout was great. Our pup was well taken care of. We hope to work with Amanda again, and definitely recommend her.
My pup loved his walk with Amanda! So glad she is in the neighborhood:)
Great dog walker! Always on time, most importantly tired my dog out.
We have a special needs dog that was born deaf, so we are always cautious of whom to trust his care to. Amanda was absolutely perfect in caring for him while we were away. Thank you for caring for our special boy Wyatt.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

I live in Pasadena near San Marino, which is just a dog paradise! There are tons of amazing things to do. Firstly, I’m very active in the dog walking and running community. I take my own puppy on weekly hikes and she does a 5k with Doghaus Running Club every Tuesday in Pasadena with me. Your pooch would be more than welcome to come along! Outside of that, there are tons of great local hiking trails, like Eaton Canyon and Chantry Flats. I love to explore, so your pup will be right at home with me if they have an adventurous spirit! Likewise, there are tons of local parks and great places to head to if we just decide to stay local instead.
