I have been a dog mom since 2003 and they truly are my world. After working as a licensed pharmacist for 11 years, I realized that animals were truly my passion and decided to leave pharmacy so I could do this full time. I’m well versed in the needs of puppies, senior dogs, and special medical needs such as the home exercises required following orthopedic surgery. I am certified in Pet CPR and first aid. I have gone through both private and group training classes with my personal dogs so I am well versed in positive reinforcement training and can help you reinforce the basics with young puppies. My youngest dog, Zoey, has even earned all 3 levels of Canine Good Citizen certification with me as her handler. My house is a safe haven for small dogs! My personal dogs are each 15 pounds and I only take boarding dogs up to 25 pounds. I am also a low volume boarder - meaning I only take 2 boarders at a time (3 if 2 of them come from the same family). This means that your pup is getting lots of attention from me and does not have the stress of being placed in a home with a dozen unfamiliar dogs. For my traveling services, I love big dogs as well and would be happy to take care of them in your home. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too!
