I would like to know if they have any special needs (medical or otherwise) so that I can provide the kind of care they need. I would also like to know how they are in public so I can be sure to take them on experiences that will be fun and won't cause them anxiety. I would want to know what the best ways are to comfort the dog if they are anxious. I would also want to know if the dog has received any kind of training so I can help to reinforce and use those commands as needed. I believe in positive reinforcement and making sure dogs have good nutrition and are engaged and happy.

For active dogs who like to meet new friends, we would go to the parks, Barker Field, or take lots of walks around the neighborhood. For dogs who are more introverted or have histories of abuse or neglect, we would find more things to do at home like playing with toys and taking quiet walks nearby or in more spacious parks.
