As this is my full-time job, besides small errands that I might take care of, I'm mostly a home body. My quite hours start at 9pm, I will be available after 9am to answer any and all inquiries but do note I do not accept same or next day sittings as I prefer to meet the families I work for and make sure that I am an absolutely perfect fit for them and their beloved fur baby's needs.

When I board pets I only look after one house hold at a time, as this prevents the spread of illness and injuries. Any unsafe spaces are baby proofed, I also make sure to not leave my home for long periods of time when there is a guest pet staying with me.

Please make sure you inform me of any medical needs, allergies and escape history. These will be important for me to know to keep your pup or kitty safe and healthy. While no one wants to think of the worst-case scenario it's better to be safe than sorry.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as you need and the proper care that they need, meaning that your dogs care is the most important job to me. I have many special needs dogs some of which can not be left alone for even a second of the day or else they panic. I stay with them and comfort them while their owners are away, sometimes on extended trips. It is what makes me a pet sitter. Extra house-sitting services Of course, I will water the gardens, clean up any dishes I've left behind and any dishes that the home owner left behind on their vacation. I take in the mail and take out the trash. Any of these tasks are necessary to fulfill a proper experience with house and animal sitting.

Hi, I'm Amanda, I sit all types of pets from Hamsters to large animals which include horses. Currently, I work in the Mission, RSM, and Lake Forest area. I am certified in pet first aid and am experienced with caring for pets with medical issues. I have been an animal lover since I can remember. I've worked with dogs as a hand on a farm, had my own pets while growing up as a child including large and small dogs. From Chihuahuas to sheep herding breeds, all the way to mastiffs and beyond.

Amanda is truly amazing. She’s sweet, professional and treats the pets under her care like her own. Our boys love her and it’s such a load off my mind when I have to go out of town. I cannot recommend her enough!
We’ve boarded our cat with Amanda before, and once again the experience was excellent. She provided patient, attentive care for our senior cat and clearly understands the needs of older felines. We felt completely confident leaving our cat in her care and returned to a calm, well-cared-for pet. Highly recommend.
Amanda took really great care of our senior and junior pets! She keep everything clean and even took care of the trash and the dishes that’s used. Easy communication whenever I need to reach her with questions.
