Pet care experience
I have spent years dog sitting for friends and family. I have watched small dogs and big dogs, households with cats and those without. I am an elementary school teacher and work from home 60% of the week, making my schedule more flexible than usual during the school year. I offer visits to your home, walks, as well as dog sitting in your home. I love to dog sit because it offers me flexibility in my schedule as well as enjoyment of the companionship of the pets I watch. I enjoy being active, so you can be sure that your pet will get plenty of exercise. I have experience with varying medical needs that dogs may have, as well as puppies and their frequent needs.

Amanda sat for our dog Molly at our home for a long weekend and we loved having her! She arrived promptly and stayed with Molly all weekend. They played in the back yard and Molly was comfortable eating and walking at her normal time! We felt that Molly was very well cared for and loved staying in the comfort of her own home while we were away. Amanda checked in throughout the weekend with pictures and updates and stayed with Molly right up until we arrived home. We will absolutely be asking Amanda back to sit for Molly again!

I would love if you had a fenced in yard for the dogs to play but that isn’t a requirement. I am happy to crate your dog or leave them out during the day but my puppy will be crated during the day.

I am a teacher working in Matthews. I will be gone during the day if you need me to house sit during the week. I will be bringing my 7 month old Boston, Winston, who is house trained and crate trained.
