I've been a dog owner all my life and caring for other peoples furry companions since 2015. Dinky is the resident Romanian rescue, who I adopted a year ago, I sadly lost Fudge, my beloved Chocolate Lab rescue in March 2020, and my previous dog was a rescue from a holiday in Greece in 1999. I am lucky to have Coldhams Common right on my doorstep and also enjoy several other walks on the outskirts of Cambridge (Horningsea, Milton and Lode to name but a few). Generally walks are an hour with a maximum of four dogs, but they can be tailored to suit individual needs. I have a good sized, secure garden and the dogs love playing the "Round the Shed Game!". Doggy day care includes two daily walks, as does holiday stays. All dogs are treated as one of the family and my vet recently described me as being "such a competent dog owner". Please note - I am unable to look after dogs with separation anxiety. And having had two failed shoulder operations, I am unable to walk large, boisterous dogs. Dinky prefers the company of small to medium sized dogs, but calm bigger dogs are also acceptable.
